They are our best egg producing duck, crossed from various breeds to compete with the Khaki Campbell. They lay more and larger eggs than the Khaki Campbell and are calmer. The Golden 300 are all temperature adaptive and good foragers. They have great fertility and make fair mothers. As adults, the female can range in color from a light brown to a dark brown. The males can look similar to a Rouen or a dull looking Cayuga. This breed is domestic meaning it cannot fly. All our ducks make great pets except the Mallard.
