Broad Breasted White Turkey

We hatch Aviagen Nicholas turkey poults from The Valley of the Moon. Nicholas turkey poults have been produced since 1937 and are known throughout the world for their quality. They are docile, friendly, curious birds, that are all temperature weather adaptive. We offer Broad Breasted White, Bronze, and Black turkeys. We do not recommend these turkeys for pets as they have a maximum life of roughly 2 years. At that point in their life, they will start having major health issues. Due to their size, they must be artificially inseminated, they cannot reproduce naturally. Turkeys must have a higher protein food than chickens, we recommend 28%. We recommend that the turkeys are butchered around 20 weeks of age. The White are the most commercially used throughout the world and produce a cleaner looking carcass. Keep a close eye on their growth or they might not fit in your oven when the holiday season arrives.
